Exosome therapy

Cell-signalling treatment for skin quality and hair density

From €200

Exosomes are nanoscale vesicles that carry signalling molecules between cells. Applied after micro-needling or injected into the scalp, exosome preparations aim to accelerate repair, calm inflammation and improve skin texture and hair density.

What it is

  • Exosomes deliver growth factors, peptides and RNA signals that instruct target cells to behave younger — increasing collagen production in fibroblasts and prolonging the growth phase in hair follicles.
  • They are used as a topical delivered through controlled micro-channels, or by intradermal injection depending on the product licence.

Who it suits

  • Dull, uneven, post-acne or sun-damaged skin
  • Early hair thinning, or as an adjunct after a hair transplant
  • Patients seeking recovery acceleration after resurfacing or micro-needling
  • Not suitable in pregnancy, active infection or active autoimmune flare

Products we use

CE-approved exosome preparations from documented manufacturers, stored per cold-chain protocol

How the treatment is performed

  • Cleansing and topical anaesthesia.
  • Controlled micro-needling or micro-injection to create delivery channels.
  • Application of the exosome preparation, followed by a soothing mask.

Safety

  • Only products with documented CE compliance and verified cold chain are used.
  • We explain the current evidence level honestly — this is a promising but still developing field.

Before your appointment

Stop retinoids and acids 3–5 days before; no sun exposure or self-tan on the area.

Aftercare

No make-up for 24 hours, strict SPF, no sauna or gym for 48 hours, gentle cleansing only.

Results and longevity

  • Glow and calmer skin within a week; texture change over 4–12 weeks.
  • For hair, reduced shedding first, then gradual density improvement across three months.

Possible side effects and risks

Redness, swelling, temporary sensitivity; rare irritation or infection.

Follow-up

Comparison photographs at the end of the course and a planned maintenance interval.

Questions about this treatment

Are exosomes better than PRP?

They act on similar pathways with different logistics. PRP is autologous and inexpensive; exosome products are standardised and dose-consistent. Choice depends on your case and budget.

How many sessions?

Three sessions is the usual course, with maintenance twice a year.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes — it is frequently used after micro-needling, laser or as part of a hair-restoration plan.
