Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite injectable that provides immediate lift and, over the following months, stimulates your own collagen. Used undiluted it contours the jawline and chin; hyperdiluted it tightens the skin of the neck, décolleté, arms and knees.
What it is
- Microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite suspended in a gel carrier. The gel provides immediate volume; the microspheres act as a scaffold that fibroblasts populate with new collagen before the particles are metabolised.
- It is a biostimulator, which makes it fundamentally different from hyaluronic acid filler — and it is not dissolvable.

- Skin laxity of the neck, décolleté, upper arms, abdomen and knees (hyperdilute technique)

How the treatment is performed
- Assessment and mapping; the dilution protocol is chosen for the goal.
- Cannula placement in most areas for safety and comfort.
- Massage and shaping after injection, following a strict protocol.
Safety
- Not reversible with hyaluronidase — placement accuracy matters more than with hyaluronic acid.
- Never injected into the lips or superficially in thin skin, where nodules can form.
- Cannula technique is preferred in vascular zones.
Before your appointment
Avoid blood thinners where medically allowed; no active skin infection at the site.
Aftercare
- Massage exactly as instructed — this is important for a smooth result.
- No gym, sauna or facial treatments for 48 hours.
- Expect firmness that settles over the first week.

Questions about this treatment
Is Radiesse better than hyaluronic acid filler?
It is different. Radiesse gives structure and collagen stimulation but cannot be dissolved. Hyaluronic acid is more forgiving and reversible. The choice depends on the area and your risk preference.
What is hyperdilute Radiesse?
The product is diluted with saline and lidocaine and spread in a thin layer to stimulate collagen and tighten skin rather than add volume — ideal for neck, décolleté and arms.
Can it be reversed?
